Our Story
Hi, I’m Amy! As a baker, decorator, and creator of this small home bakery, baking has always been my passion.
I married my loving husband in 2015, and together we’re raising our kindhearted son Kayden, who brightened our lives when he arrived in 2017. My husband and I were both born in Hong Kong but raised in Vancouver, BC. In 2016, we moved to the beautiful city of Chilliwack, BC to start our family.
My love of baking began in high school, when I used to help my mom whip up egg whites for her signature angel cake recipe. I’ve always adored wandering through farmer’s markets, homemade bake sales, and pastry shops, dreaming that one day I could become a vendor.
When COVID-19 hit in early 2020, our family spent ample time at home, which reignited my passion for baking. At first, I was just making DIY cookie kits and decorating for fun with my son. Little did I know, I was embarking on an adventure of a lifetime – discovering cookie decorating and never looking back!
Sprinkles with Love was established in spring of 2020. Our vision is to spread joy by crafting one-of-a-kind treats for any occasion. We strive to do things properly: using locally-sourced, high-quality ingredients like local brown sugar, unbleached organic flour, and farm-fresh eggs from our own chickens.
No matter the event, idea, or budget, we’ll collaborate to create a perfect set. One thing’s for sure: your cookies WILL be something everyone raves over. I promise. Honoured by the time and creativity that goes into each and every cookie for all of my clients.
